Allo Geraki. Επειδή με τον Dada τρακάραμε λίγο στις μεταφράσεις μας, έχουμε βάλει ο καθένας στη σελίδα του τις μεταφράσεις που πρόκειται να κάνουμε, έτσι ώστε να μην κάνουμε τα ίδια. Σε ενημερώνω γιατί κι εσύ μετφράζεις το Interface. Ο Dada ξεκίνησε με τα δυο upload forms (Mediawiki:Uploadtext/el και Commons:Upload/el και συνεχίζει με τα σχετικά mediawiki, κι εγώ είπα να πιάσω First Steps και Licensing. ΟΚ! Ευτυχώς πιάνεται που πιάνεται κι εσείς για να τελειώσει γρήγορα. Αυτά που πρέπει να μπούνε στο namespace MediaWiki να ειδοποιήσουμε να τα βάλει κάποιος admin όλα μαζί ή μόλις τελειώνουμε κάποιο; π.χ. αυτά που μετέφρασα εγώ δεν ειδοποίησα ακόμη για να κάνω 2-3 ακόμη και μετά. Αν δεν τα έχουν βάλει ακόμα, καλύτερα τέλειωσέ τα και τα βάζεις όλα μαζί. Μπορείς να ειδοποιήσεις και στο σημειωματάριο των admins αλλά νομίζω τα βλέπουν και μόνοι τους αν είναι στο talk του mediawiki. Και οι δυο μέθοδοι είναι Ok, όλοι οι admins εδώ βοηθάνε αρκετά οπότε και αρκετές φορές να τους τσιγκλίσουμε, ακόμα και προσωπικά, δεν νομίζω ότι υπάρχει πρόβλημα - Badseed 18:01, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Το MediaWiki:Licenses/el ζήτησα να το περάσουν μαζί με κάτι δικά μου και το έκαναν ήδη (είδα ότι μετά από 1 εβδομάδα κανείς δεν το είχε μεταφέρει από τη συζήτηση οπότε μάλλον είναι καλύτερο να τους ειδοποιούμε κιόλας). Κατόπιν σχετικής πρότασης ενός διαχειριστή έφτιαξα μία Αγορά στα ελληνικά. Δεν προβλέπεται μάλλον να έχει κίνηση αλλά αν μπορείς ρίχνε μερικές ματιές και εσύ. Αν σκεφτείς κάποιο άλλο καλύτερο όνομα ή γενικά άλλες αλλαγές της σελίδας προχώρα. Επίσης οι φόρμες επιφόρτωσης είναι πλέον ολοκληρωμένες και στα ελληνικά. Χρησιμοποιούν και ξεχωριστά μηνύματα για τις άδειες ανά φόρμα (π.χ MediaWiki:Licenses/elownwork). Τσίαρς --Dada 12:08, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Υδροστόμιο

Όχι δε μου τη σπας, επόμενο είναι με τα uploads να γίνονται και γκάφες (όπως με το Mil, που νόμιζα ότι ήταν TP και κατόπιν εορτής ανακάλυψα ότι ήταν TC) ειδικά σε ένα θέμα που ελάχιστα γνωρίζω όπως τα πυροσβεστικά. Κι εγώ δεν ήμουν απόλυτα σίγουρος για το συγκεκριμένο, απλά αυτά τα στόμια τα έχω δει σε πολλές καινούργιες εγκαταστάσεις (σταθμούς κυρίως) και φαντάστηκα ότι ήταν σημεία για "γρήγορη" πρόσβαση σε νερό, όπως επίσης φαντάστηκα ότι δίνουν παροχή μέσω κάποιας βαλβίδας όταν συνδεθεί η μάνικα (πολλή φαντασία!). Λέω να το ανεβάσω πάλι σαν sprinkler access point όπως στην άλλη φωτό και να πάει στην κατηγορία sprinkler, σωστά;

Σ' ευχαριστώ για τα συχαρίκια. Για τα αεροπλάνα είναι μάλλον θέμα τύχης, καθώς με τη φωτιά της Καισαριανής τα αεροπλάνα και ελικόπτερα έτυχε να κάνουν διαδρομές πολύ κοντά (σχεδόν από πάνω) από εκεί που βρισκόμουν. Πάντως εσύ φωτογράφισες κ ρίψεις και στην τελική είσαι αξιέπαινος που με όλο τον πανικό και την κούραση της Πάρνηθας σκέφτηκες να βγάλεις φωτογραφίες. Για τους τραγουδιστές είναι θέμα σπρωξίματος για να φτάσεις κάτω από τη σκηνή, αν και εγώ δεν είμαι ικανοποιημένος: το autofocus της μηχανής μου "κρεμάει" στο χαμηλό φως και πρέπει να ξεπεράσω και το κόλλημά μου να μη χρησιμοποιώ φλας. Αυτά τα δυο μου έχουν "κοστίσει" φωτογραφίες, του Δεληβοριά βγήκαν άχρηστες αλλά ευτυχώς έβγαλα Τσαλιγοπούλου γιατί σε διαφορετική περίπτωση θα έσκαγα!

Και κάτι άλλο άσχετο: χάρη στον Dake έχουμε πλέον ένα tool που μπορει να κάνει διαγραφές εικόνων αυτόματα από μια κατηγορία ή μια λίστα. Οπότε σαν πιο σχετικός με XML και exporting, αν μπορούσες να βρεις ένα τρόπο να δημιουργείται μια λίστα με ονόματα εικόνων από το ειδικό των "αχρησιμοποίητων εικόνων" θα ήταν πολύ καλό (δοκίμασα εξαγωγή στο Excel αλλά "κόβει" μερικά ονόματα που είναι πολύ μεγάλα). Αλλά για αυτό θα γράψω και στο σημειωματάριο διαχειριστών στη Βικιπαίδεια. - Badseed 10:19, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

Yo! Τζιτζί και οι δυο φωτογραφίες! Το 55 το είχα βγάλει κι εγώ μαζί με τα υπόλοιπα και ψιλοανατρίχιασα όταν άκουσα ότι έπεσε (η φωτό του 56 ήταν καλύτερη κι έτσι ανέβασα αυτή). Για τα ελικόπτερα δεν το ήξερα αυτό! Υποτίθεται ότι υπάρχει στην Κρήτη άλλο ένα Scorpion με σήματα του ΠΣ αλλά μου φαίνεται μούφα γιατί δεν έχω ακούσει να επιχειρεί.

Τώρα για τα Canadair, η Ισπανία έχει μόνο ένα 415 (και το έστειλαν Ελλάδα;!) άρα αναγκαστικά τα άλλα θάπρεπε νάναι ιταλικά. Το έψαξα λίγο ακόμα και είδα ότι τα ιταλικά (σε φετινές φωτογραφίες Μαΐου στο ιταλικό άρθρο) έχουν τα ουραία τους βαμμένα κίτρινα, σε αντίθεση με το ισπανικό (και τα ελληνικά). Στις δυο φωτό σου όντως αυτό φαίνεται (όπως και ίχνη από τη μπλε ρίγα στο πλάι και τις κόκκινες "ρίγες" στο κάθετο σταθερό) άρα κατά πάσα πρέπει νάναι ιταλικά.

Εγώ από αύριο θα λείψω για κανα δυο-τρεις μέρες. Καλά κουράγια εύχομαι, θα τα χρειαστούμε δηλαδή όλοι με αυτά που κάηκαν, αλλά περισσότερο εσείς που είσαστε πρώτη γραμμή. Και να προσέχεις, ε! - Badseed 01:08, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi Geraki,

How extremely odd. I just registered at el.wp and had a look. I don't know what the problem could be. I suggest taking a screenshot of the problem (ie show the wrong drop-down list in action) and make a bug report at bugzilla:. Let me know if you find out what the problem is because I would be interested to know.

p.s. in the meantime you can direct users to use Commons :P :P

Μετά τις φώτο που ανέβασες από το μουσείο της ΠΑ έμαθα το μάθημα και μόλις σε δω να προσθέτεις commons σπεύδω να θαυμάσω τα αριστουργήματα! Μία μικρή ένσταση μόνο, τα F-5 δεν είναι της έκδοσης Tiger (δηλαδή F-5E), η ΠΑ είχε μόνο F-5A και B (διθέσια) Freedom Fighter και NF-5A/B Freedom Fighter (Ολλανδικά). Η διαφορά είναι ότι στην έκδοση Ε τα αεροσκάφη έφεραν Ραντάρ και αναβαθμισμένα ηλεκτρονικά, πράγμα που τα Ελληνικά δεν διέθεταν. Γιο-χο. Εδώ έχουν για τους διαχειριστές μια γκατζέτα η οποία κάνει check all όλες τις εκδόσεις ενός διαγραμμένου άρθρου προκειμένου να γίνει επαναφορά όλων πλην λίγων συγκεκριμένων. Νομίζω πως θα ήταν χρήσιμο (αν και δεν μας χρειάζεται συχνά κάτι τέτοιο, ωστόσο είναι σπάσιμο να τσεκάρεις π.χ. 100 κουτάκια εκτός από την έκδοση με το τηλέφωνο ή email που άφησε ο τελευταίος) να το έχουμε και στη Βικιπαίδεια. Αν πιστεύεις ότι θα είναι χρήσιμο και μπορεί να μεταφερθεί χωρίς να σου φάει πολύ κόπο/χρόνο, το αντίστοιχο σκριπτ είναι το MediaWiki:Gadget-EnhancedUndelete.js - Badseed ^talk 19:50, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

I see you've removed the geocoding of Image:BMW X6 front.jpg and Image:BMW X6 rear.jpg, with an explanation that the car moves (which I found pretty funny :P). Is this a normal practice or is it only your reasoning? My intention was to inform anyone who might be wondering about the actual location where the car was parked and the photo was taken. The principal function of geocoding is to provide information about the location of the shot, not the current location of its subjects. Don't you think? The existence of that information cannot be harmful in any way, and might even prove to be helpful. I'm asking you to think about it and give me a response. Όχι ΧαριτωμένεΧαρούμενεΒρούτε, δεν έκανα αυτό που ήθελες, απλώς ακολούθησα την αντίστοιχη διαδικασία. Με δεδομένο ότι το e-mail έκανε κάτι μήνες για να φτάσει, ήταν απόλυτα δικαιολογημένη η διαγραφή. Hi, since you blocked my email on greek wiki I have to communicate through here. Could you please give an explanation for

a) the reason I was blocked for 2 years, since there was never a voting for 2 years? Furthermore, in the 3 years voting (where you didn't reach a consensus) I was never allowed to speak for myself. Please explain your actions.

1. You can always communicate through info-elwikipedia.org.
2. The proposal of Αχρήστης was for an indefinite ban and Καλογερόπουλος reinstitution of the proposal was for a 3 years ban which was discussed. Τwo of the supporters agreed for a smaller ban so the common ground was found that you should be banned but for less than 3 years. Polling in wikipedia is not absolute 'yes' or 'no' votes and the proposals and arguments used were taken on account.
3. Do not see it as a trial and do not wikilawyer: you were blocked from editing because of your behavior and banned from the community for the same thing. It's misleading saying that "you were not allowed to speak" when you never asked for it, although the community decided that it does not want to hear from you for the following two years.
4. I find it wise that banned users' pages should be blanked (not deleted) and replaced with a notice of the ban for many reasons (there can be some controversial material or it could be changed by someone else). In fact it's a policy: "Banned users' user pages may be replaced by a notice of the ban and links to any applicable discussion or decision-making pages. The purpose of this notice is to announce the ban to editors encountering the banned user's edits. Unlike editors who have been temporarily blocked, banned users are not permitted to edit their user and user talk pages."
5. Please do not stalk me on every wiki, your ban was a community matter. We both speak greek, you didn't need to write me in english (commons and meta are multilingual). a) You have blocked email communication through the greek wiki, so please don't accuse me of stalking you in any page. Do you mean that I should give you further personal details in order to communicate?

b) As you say the community did not agree for 3 years, thus it was your decision to block me for 2 years. Btw, el:user:Αχρήστης did not make a proposal, she banned me forever and then it was another admin el:user:Badseed that reverted the block and she had to propose it. So please explain your action, it was yours and not a community decision. What was my behaviour to give such a ban?

c) You know that since I was banned I wasn't allowed to ask anything. For the sentence "Others use swearwords and I'm in a trial without even the chance to speak" I got banned for 2 months. Can you explain it?

d) Could you please explain what was the controversial material on my user page? As far as I remember I had a list of articles I had written and the words of another admin about my contribution. 1. Αs it is written in el:Βικιπαίδεια:Επικοινωνία and I've already written above, you can always send e-mails at info-elwikimedia.org. No personal details needed.
2. I've already answered that. As a proposal for article deletion does not necessarily result only in deletion or keep but also in merge or redirect, a proposal for a 3 years ban does not necessarily result only in ban for 3 years or no ban at all. If you don't see the users supporting your ban, I can't help it. So, it was not my decision.-
3. It's clear that you said it while having the chance to speak. If it was about your ban proposal probably it would be moved in the discussion page, although it's not clear if you ever had that right. Unfortunately, you did not speak about yourself.
4. I do not innovate new things, all banned users in english wikipedia have their user pages blanked. Please understand that as a banned user you don't have the same rights as a normal user (in fact even anonymous users have more rights). Count the user page as a right you loose when you are banned.

Αν δεν μπορείς να δεις τους χρήστες που στηρίζουν τον αποκλεισμό σου, δεν μπορώ να βοηθήσω. Λοιπόν, δεν ήταν δική μου απόφαση.-
3. Είναι ξεκάθαρο ότι το είπες ενόσω είχες ευκαιρία να μιλάς. Εάν επρόκειτο για την πρόταση φραγής σου πιθανότατα να είχε μεταφερθεί στην σελίδα συζήτησης, παρότι δεν είναι ξεκάθαρο αν είχες αυτό το δικαίωμα. Δυστυχώς, δεν μίλησες για τον εαυτό σου.
4. Δεν εφεύρω νέα πράγματα, όλοι οι αποκλεισμένοι χρήστες στην αγγλική βικιπαίδεια έχουν κενές σελίδες χρήστη. Σε παρακαλώ να καταλάβεις ότι ως αποκλεισμένος χρήστης δεν έχεις τα ίδια δικαιώματα με ένα άλλο χρήστη (στην πραγματικότητα ακόμη και οι ανώνυμοι έχουν περισσότερα δικαιώματα). Υπολόγιζε την σελίδα χρήστη ως ένα δικαίωμα που χάνεις όσο είσαι σε αποκλεισμό.

a) I don't see any user supporting / proposing a ban for 2 years, therefore it was your decision. Could you show anyone who proposed a 2 year ban? Less could mean anything, in fact some of the users that said "less" would probably think even less than 6 months (which is common for "we don't like you and we don't review your bans" on greek wiki).

b) What was the reason for Kalogeropoulos's proposal? Please give a clear answer.

c) There were users supporting a 3 years ban, but you didn't reach a consensus. "It's clear that you said it while having the chance to speak.", what do you mean? I was on ban and got banned for 2 months further for asking someone to review my ban (with a template) and saying the sentence above. What kind of "chance to speak" is that?

d) You talked about possible controversial material on my user page. My question was clear, yet you avoid to answer directly. What was that controversial material? Please don't refer to english wiki where banned users are (almost all) vandals, you know I have never vandalised or used inappropriate words on wikipedia and you know what my contributions have been there. I have nothing to do with "destroying wikipedia".

Jastrow and I are working on autotranslating {{Meta information museum}}, the meta-template we use for many museums, like {{Information NAMA}}. Could you please help us find Greek translations for every tag name:

   * artist/maker
   * description
   * dimensions
   * credit line
   * accession number
   * location
   * source/photographer
   * references
   * other versions

"Credit line" is mainly about the mode of acquisition: what collection does it come from? Did it join the collections by gift, purchase, on loan, etc.?
