Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

Hola buenas a ver si me puedes ayudar con esto porque parece que es difícil de explicar. Hace ya bastante tiempo subí el escudo del municipio navarro de es:Guesálaz pero por equivocación puse Güesalaz. Después de darme cuenta y para evitar crispar con tal incorrección lo subí con el nombre correcto pero se me olvidó solicitar el borrado del otro. Hay diferencias propias dela evolución del diseño como en elprimero que aparece timbradopor una corona que puse por error pero no debe llevar. A parte que no hay antecedentes de diseños de este escudo con corona y no la pide el blasón. Trae de azur y el nombre de Guesálaz en letras de oro. en bordura de gules,las cadenas de Navarra de oro. Con estos colores y metales aparece pintado en el Salón de trono de la Diputación.(Jesús Lorenzo Otazu Ripa, Heráldica Municipal Merindad de Estella (I),pg 29 Navarra. Temas de Cultura Popular n.º 268, Ed. Gobierno de Navarra, 1999, ISBN84-235-0040-3.) El diseño que acompaña el texto es una foto de las vidrieras de la diputación o una imitación del mismo y aparece timbrado por yelmo empenachado. También hay que tener en cuenta que en estas aparecen con corona los escudos de los que tubieron antiguamente el título de villas, el resto aparecen timbrados con yelmo empenachado, elemento que decidimos omitir por tratarse de un timbre inadecuado en escudos municipales. Lo puedes ver en la propia web de Guesálaz donde por cieerto nos han copiado el diseño (lo acabo de descubrir ahora)[5]. Quiero subir un documento de 1486 (una Carta de los Reyes Católicos), por supuesto no dispongo del documento original y la pregunta es ¿puedo escanearlo de un libro (actual) y subirlo como "autor que murió hace más de 70 años"?

Hace tiempo que subí la imagen pero no me´di cuenta o no le di importancia a que el nombre File:Logo Wikiproyecto Histora.svg, tenía errata, y trasladaste la imagen al nombre correcto File:Logo Wikiproyecto Historia de España.svg. Se me hacía raro que no apareciera en wikipedia los enlaces de la imagen hasta que conprobé que era solo una redireción. Ya he cambiado todos los enlaces al nombre correcto, que por suerte no eran muchos y solo estaba en la wikipedia en español. Yo he escaneado con la opción uso en commons y no me aparecen más enlaces a la redireción con lo cual creo que se puede proceder al borrado. Gracias ante todo por tu inestimable ayuda, he enviado toda la información de que dispongo y que me facilito el propio autor, junto con la declaración de derechos de autor de la obra con su correspondiente licencia e información acreditativa y no entiendo que es lo que falta, aún después de la agradable explicación recibida, he repasado todo con respecto a la web de la fotografía y está correctamente, lo más extraño es que almacené una fotografía del miso tipo de barco y del mismo autor con las mismas condiciones y está todo correcto y validado, he enviado dicha información correctamente a trabes de email a commons pero sigue sin estar validada, gracias! eres el único que me ha dicho algo al respecto, cosa que te agradezco encarecidamente, te envió un cordial saludo.

Hola Rastrojo, he estado últimamente recategorizando algunas imágenes y categorías sobre la Semana Santa en Andalucía, pasándolas de "Semana Santa ..." a "Holy Week ...". Lo he hecho todo manualmente una a una, y veo que todavía quedan categorías en el resto de España por arreglar, algunas con una considerable cantidad de imágenes. El problema es que me parece una tarea realmente tediosa que sería mejor de la que se ocupara un bot, pero tengo entendido que ese tipo de tareas sólo pueden mecanizarlas los administradores, por lo que pido si podrías encargarte de listar las recategorizaciones. Logotipos basados en texto o formas geométricas simples
He subido esta imagen File:Logotipo de Canal 4 Navarra.svg y es la primera vez que hago algo parecido, por lo que no se si lo he hecho correcto. Yo creo que la imagen cumple los requisitos: Esta basada en un rectángulo con borde negro, proporcionado al texto dividido en dos celdas también proporcionadas al texto de color amarillo tostado y blanco y el texto en fuente arial black (bold). La duda también es si habría que citar al creador del diseño o propietario en la casilla autor. Supongo que esos datos EXIF no los podrá detectar automáticamente por alguna razón el software MediaWiki, o quizás los obvie, no lo se. Yo, hasta hace nada, intentaba utilizar una extensión de Firefox para sacar esa información, pero por lo visto tampoco los detectaba del todo correctamente. A raíz de una conversación con Martin H. (después de que él me marcara también para borrado a través de los datos EXIF otro archivo de 20minutos), me indicó que él utilizaba Exiftool, la cual me parece, ahora que he podido instalarla, una herramienta realmente más potente que el resto de las que he usado. Buenos Días, he observado que estás eliminando practicamente cualquier imagen y articulo en referencia a grupos musicales con la excusa de que son "promocionales". Por ese concepto deberías cargarte practicamente todos los que están en Wikipedia/Wikimedia empezando por Baron Rojo, personalmente considero que haces un flaco favor en perjuicio de bandas locales pues el concepto enciclopédico también se refiere a lo que "existe" y no solo a lo que pertenece al Pleistoceno, muerto y enterrado. Es mi humilde opinión y creo que estás actuando bajo preceptos muy particulares o, espero equivocarme, fobias hacia ciertas tendencias "mediterraneas" o favorecer a estilos más afines a tus gustos. Informate bien antes de marear la perdiz y gracias por el tiempo perdido. Por cierto, te cargas también a KELLS que en Francia son una banda de primer orden con dos albumes en el mercado, equivalente a EPICA en Holanda o NIGHTWISH en Finlandia, ¿también te los vas a cargar? porque muchas fotos que he visto de bandas de metal proceden de webs ajenas, no son trabajos propios de los articulistas, lo que me demuestra que no tienes una idea muy firme de lo que estás haciendo. Nota: por tu comentario en mi página de discusión parece que google no es una herramienta válida o simplemente no quieres buscar, pero bueno, al menos escribe EPICA (solo son 5 letras como ves, no te va a dar un ictus) en el buscador y como administrador puedes verificar en tu querida Wikipedia de lo que estoy hablando. Si la foto debe ser "original" puedo colgar alguna de las que tomé en la gira a su paso por España. No obstante me invade la duda, pues si desde wikipedia alguien copia una imagen y se cuelga en otras webs, ¿quien fue el primero? ¿el huevo o la gallina? ¿por el hecho se estar colgado en diversos servidores la imagen es "susceptible" de ser borrada? Hola compañero. Acudo a ti por ser administrador en commons y dominar los problemas intrínsicos que por aquí surgen. Tengo un problema con un usuario y con varios escudos de reciente creación. A petición de un usuario en la viquipèdia avisándome de que faltan bastantes escudos de estados que en la versión inglesa aparecen, me puse ha hacer algunos de ellos. Realicé File:Coat of arms of Senegal.svg, File:Coat of arms of Kenya.svg y File:Coat of arms of Singapore.svg y el usuario Fry1989 los edita y vigila mis creaciones para hacer cambios en las tonalidades de colores y eliminar contornos de mis interpretaciones heráldicas. Su única razón, según he interpretado, es que son para parecerse a los modelos que encuentra en internet (dice, more accurate) y heráldicamente, no hay ningún motivo para ese cambio de tonalidad. En el caso del escudo de Singapur, si miras las versiones, verás los comentarios. Creía que en commons no se pueden subir diseños originales ni copiarlos aunque sea en parte, ya que eso supone una infracción del copyright (creía). Parece que no entiende que la heráldica, entre otras cosas es un arte, y un blasón produce multiples diseños (creo firmemente que, como la gran mayoría de personas, no tiene ni idea de heráldica). Gracias por preguntar al usuario, pero sigue en sus trece de cambiar tonalidades basandose en alguna imagen de internet. Eso no es serio. Pueden haber decenas de escudos diferentes con otras tonalidades en otras páginas oficiales. Hi there. I use multiple sources as reference when I make changes to Coats of Arms, to make them more accurate to official versions as used by National Governments. In this case, with Xavigivax, we're talking about the Coat of Arms of Singapore. For it, I used the official government websites of Singapore, which have illustrations available. Unfortunately, Xavigivax feels that he wants his version available(which he is free to do), and I have since uploaded my more accurate version seperate. His version is still available for people to use, however, the most accurate version should always be used, which is why I have replaced his on th Wikipedia pages, and given it a superceded tag. However, the arms of Singapore and it's design is protected by copyright in Singapore and any visual depiction of the arms is going to be a derivative work. I already spoken to the Singapore Government (National Heritage Board) about this issue and they told me the arms cannot go on the Commons due to their licensing requirements. The file "Castilian_people.svg", initially accepted as a substitute for the equivalent jpg, was deleted from Commons by you due to lack of source. However, others such as File: Castile-whole.png, File: Castilla1.png, File: Castilla2.PNG or File: Castilla3.PNG with the same lack are being maintained. I guess this is due to an error of the administrator who, obviously, can't pay attention to all existing files, so I also request the removal of them. Hola amigo, me podrías decir por que borraste el archivo Twitter logo.png si yo especifique que el logo de twitter no alcanza el Umbral de Originalidad necesario para que esté protegido por derechos de autor, por lo tanto, está en Dominio Público, ya que esta compuesto de letras y formas simples.
Ademas le coloque la plantilla PD-textlogo que especifica claramente que por poseer letras y formas simple pasa a ser Dominio Publico según las leyes de los Estados Unidos.

Hola Rastrojo. Has borrado el video que subí de Jon Idigoras en el Congreso con el argumento de que es un video de TVE relicenciado. Sin embargo no creo que en este caso sea aplicable, ya que al ser una intervención en el congreso de los Diputados es la propia TVE la que está emitiendo ese video que es de Dominio Público (como lo son las actas del Congreso). Ese video fue subido por la Izquierda Abertzale a su web con la licencia cc-by-sa-3.0 como todos los videos de esa web.

Soy un usuario que está creando archivos siguiendo estilo del Usuario Sodacan. He visto que has modificado los archivos que he creado en varios artículos en inglés, te ruego que no lo hagas porque estoy realizado mi trabajo para complementar el estilo predominante en la versión inglesa. He visto en la página de discusión de Usuario Miguillen una guerra de ediciones con otro usuario, yo no voy a sustituir los archivos del grupo heraldico español en la versión de la Wikipedia en este idioma, ni voy entrar en guerras de ediciones como he visto que ha ocurrrido. Te ruego que respetes estos diseños (estoy trabajando en otros escudos para la wikipedia en inglés). Te ruego respeto, como yo respeto tu trabajo en la versión española. Mis trabajos han sido bien recibidos en la versión en inglés porque mantienen el estilo predominante en la misma. Tengo todo el derecho a ver publicados y respetados mis trabajos. He visto tus argumentos y los artículos en discusión y deseo también respetar vuestro trabajo, no discutiré ni trataré de reemplazar la presencia de la versión del escudo de Navarra del Usuario Miguillen y la versión del escudo real de España hecha por el grupo se ha respetado en el artículo Spanish Heraldry (para que quede reflejada en la versión en inglés el estilo del grupo español de heráldica que crea archivos en Commons). Te pido por favor que respetes la presencia de mis archivos porque se ajustan al estilo predominante de la versión en inglés (deseo trabajar con este estilo y no el vuestro), si deseas cambios puedes pedir un arbitraje, si vuelves a retirar mis archivos solicitaré yo el arbitraje. Como te he dicho he respetado en algunos casos la presencia (Navarra, Spanish Heraldry) de vuestros archivos porque me parece razonable, te ruego una vez más que lo seas tu conmigo y que aceptes la presencia de escudos de diferentes estilos que pueden convivir perfectamente cada uno en su ámbito. En caso contrario, como digo podemos recurir a un arbitraje o decisión de administradores pero por favor, sin guerra de ediciones. Espero que podamos encontrar una solución lo más satisfactoria para todos.
Respeto también presencia de la versión del escudo del rey de España de vuestro grupo en Titles of Spanish Crown (no ha llegado a modificarse) y por supuesto la versión oficial del escudo de España (porque es incuestionable que deba figurar en los artículos sobre España, Escudo de España y barras de navegación sobre política y Estado Español). Se ha introducido como versión con carácter secundario con modificaciones planteadas por heraldistas. En español también figura la vesión del Usuario Sancho Panza con las correcciones de Heraldistas en artículo sobre Escudo de España. No obstante indicaré en nota que la versión no es oficial y recomendaré en la página de discusión del artículo que se respete el lugar principal para la versión oficial y también lo haré en las barras de navegación de la Wikipedia en Inglés para que se tenga en cuenta.
A ver que te parece, tengo sospechas de que un usuario está subiendo fotos como suyas cuando me parece muy poco probable que así sea. Te ponga esta de ejemplo o esta para que vayas tirando del hilo.

File:Recorregut_del_lip_dub_per_la_independència.jpg, esta imagen del recorrido del lip dub me la cedieron los organizadores del mismo. Yo me puse en contacto con ellos y me cedieron los derechos de la imagen, de hecho me dijo que podía hacer con ella lo que quería. Si acaso, aclarame como tengo que hacer para pedir una autorización a OTRS, porqué esta foto es plenamente libre.
File:Lip_dub_per_la_independència.jpg, és el comprovante de asitencia de el lip dub per la independència. Yo mismo fui, me lo diero y lo escaneé. Es una obra propia. No entiendo porqué no puede tener licencia libre. Además, estoy segurísimo que nadie de los organizadores nos denunciarían o se quejarían por "violar derechos de autor".

Parece que Manuel no está contento con sabotear wp:es y viene a hacerlo aquí. Propuso para su borrado una imagen cuyo autor murió en 1880, como si no supiera que la política de autor muerto hace más de 100 años es suficiente para considerar la obra en dominio público y que nadie puede arrogarse la posesión de los derechos de una obra que ha pasado a dominio público, por la mera reproducción de esta; criterio, además, que se defendió en jornadas de Wikimedia en la que se planteó este caso. Por supuesto he revertido el sabotaje, pero queda esta página creada para la consulta, que te pido que borres (no me aclaro bien para el procedimiento para pedir el borrado aquí), y si puede ser que mantengas la página File:Valentín Carderera.jpg por si vuelve a las andadas. No, Rastrojo, el cuadro (también en imagen incompleta) se encuentra aquí, lo que ha subido el usuario Escarlati es una fotografía parcial del cuadro, fotografía que sí tiene copyright, que es propiedad de la Gran Enciclopedia Aragonesa y cuyo autor por lo demás sigue vivo cuando se publica la Gran Enciclopedia Aragonesa a fines del siglo XX, es decir, hace 10 o 15 años. Recuérdese aquí, cuando se dice que Para una fotografía de una obra de arte ... El fotógrafo tiene derechos sobre la foto, porque cada persona que contribuyó una parte crucial de la obra tiene derechos sobre los resultados, y todos tienen que hacer su contribución disponible bajo una licencia libre. Tampoco, al no indicarse en ningún lugar el autor del cuadro en el archivo, no es posible saber si ha muerto ni cuándo lo ha hecho, ya que la afirmación del usuario Escarlati de que "murió en 1880" se refiere a quien aparece en el cuadro, no a su autor. Estudiaré lo que dices cuando pueda (ahora no me es posible), ya que lo que comentas parece estar en contradición con el enunciado general y debo ver cómo encaja, puesto que se desconocen los derechos de quien tomó la imagen (no de la totalidad del cuadro sino sólo de una parte que él eligió, del mismo modo que yo no he subido jamás a Commons imágenes parciales de cuadros en las que su autor no indicase específicamente una licencia compatible) y de quien pagó por su trabajo y detenta los derechos de la imagen. Te recuerdo que una fotografía sigue teniendo derechos de autor por mucho que lo que fotografíe siga siendo libre (no creo que haga falta que te de ejemplos). Sigue también sin aclararse quién es el autor del cuadro. Dependiendo de la fecha de su muerte, su cuadro tampoco es libre, sino que sigue manteniendo sus derechos de autor, sin que sepamos tampoco cuándo se publicó el cuadro en cuestión, ya que quien lo subió no lo dice ni aparece visible en ningún lugar que yo haya podido localizar. No creo tampoco que haga falta que te recuerde que la obligación de quien suba ficheros a Commons es la de justificar las licencias que indique, del mismo modo que la de los administradores es velar porque así se haga. Veo que sigues sin atender mi indicacón acerca de los insultos del usuario Escarlati, con lo que deberé tomar otras medidas. Así que, como buen saboteador de Commons que soy, mejor te miras esta imagen, donde se aprecia perfectamente que la 43 no tenía la bandera que se cita en Commons. Y que, por supuesto, no se conserva en el Museu donde se dice aquí. El usuario se limita a pedir que le hagan en serie banderitas de divisiones y regimientos, que se suben todos dando una fuente falsa, porque está claro que no se encuentran en dicho museo todas y cada una de esas banderas. ¿También es un sabotaje recordar que Commons no es fuente primaria y no es así el lugar en el que subir banderas inventadas?. Preguntaba en general, no por un caso concreto. Pensaba subir alguna foto de equipos de fútbol españoles de los años 20 (y anteriores). Hay fotos que fueron publicadas por la prensa de época y, en ocasiones, van firmadas, aunque muchas veces solo por un apellido, así que es difícil saber qué fue del autor. Hole. Creo que he subido incorrectamente las siguientes imagenes [15][16] y [17]. Las subí en base a que habrían sido publicadas de forma anónima antes de septiembre de 1962. Sin embargo, me acabo de percatar que la revista desde donde las obtuve tenía una sección (al final) donde indicaba la autoría de algunas (no todas) sus imagenes. Si bien no me consta que estas fotos no sean anónimas, habría que verificar. El problema es que por ahora no voy tener tiempo para eso, por lo que lo mejor es borrarlas por el momento. Saludos. Ya que estamos, me pregunto si podrías revisar esta consulta. Entiendo que, al igual que otras obras creadas hace más de 100 años, como cuadros o libros antiguos, la mera reproducción de una creación de hace más de 500 años no genera nuevos derechos de autor, y este es el criterio que comúnmente se sigue en Commons, pero no sé inglés y no puedo defender allí mis argumentos. Ciertamente, hay un conflicto con RI-51-0000060. La lista de Wikipedia en español indica que es la catedral de Zamora, al igual que el ministario, pero la lista de cawiki da ese id a la Torre dels moscats [18]. Sin embargo en el enlace que dan no aparece el BIC.
El BIC fue añadido por VriuBot, pero Torre dels Moscats aparece con el Codi 60 desde la primera versión. Le he dejado un mensage a Joan Creus preguntándole. Me da la impresión que el BIC debía ser 60xx. Buen trabajo.

Ayer subí a commons una colección de imágenes del archivo fotográfico del Club de piragüismo Aranjuez, con objetivo de ilustrar la historia que estamos escribiendo en formato wikimedia http://historia.piraguismoaranjuez.com algunos administradores marcaron las imágenes para ser borradas por varios errores que cometí al subir las imágenes con commonist y ya las he editado y enviado un correo electrónico a permissions-commons@wikimedia.org con la declaración de propiedad y licencia de uso.
Tengo la duda de ser suficiente o quedarme algo pendiente por lo que te agradecería revisaras el estado de las imagenes.

Hace tiempo, dos usuarios siempre suben fotos que podrían pasar por normales, ya que al ser de lucha libre, muchas son desde las gradas y pueden pasar como fotos que uno mismo ha sacado. Pero ya se borraron muchas en el pasado de estos mismos usuarios, también sacadas desde las gradas y me gusaría sabes si hay alguna manera de ver la veracidad de las fotos de los usuarios Wwebatistavskofi y Sonly. Lo que siempre me extraña es la falta de información y que, a pesar de ser fotos de eventos en estados unidos, lo poco que pongan sea en español, así que me gustaría saber si son fraude o no de alguna manera. Aparte, también creo que esta tiene copyright File:Mark Henry World Heavyweight Champion.jpg ya que está sacada desde la rampa, algo inaccesibele para un fan. Hola Rastrojo. Quizá podrías avisar a eswiki de éste hilo del Café a ver si alguien que conozca de heráldica o esté interesado pueda arrojar luz. Básicamente y como se puede ver aquí los hay que se dedican a usar el CommonsDelinker para hacer reemplazos masivos de los escudos de las regiones a versiones incorrectas como ésta (con el castillo cortado). Una pregunta, borraste el fichero SARAMONTIELgodess.jpg diciendo que no tenía origen, a mi me parece perfecto porque es lo que yo quería hacer pero el problema que tenía es que ponía que era una obra propia..., claro que eso es lo que sale por defecto al subir las imágenes. El escudo del pueblo que puede verse ahora en Wikipedia (y consecuentemente en la bandera), es el que se propuso en su día. La Real Academia de Historia suprimió la "terraza de sinople", quedando el resto igual: "de gules, dos torres de oro aclaradas de azul, sobre ondas, acompañadas en jefe de una llave arábiga de plata puesta en palo. El escudo va timbrado con la corona real española".
Todo lo anterior está documentado en la misma referencia que actualmente tiene el escudo, el contenido de ese enlace ha sido actualizado.

Hola Rastrojo, me gusta tu seudónimo. Somos un grupo de estudiantes y dos profesores de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Hemos tenido un problema de borrado del gif animado Commons:Deletion requests/File:HornoCuerpoNegroGif.gif porque ya había una base previa de hace cinco años. Se trata de la imagen File:HORNO CUERPO NEGRO TT.jpg que no es nuestra. Resulta que un alumno de nuestra Escuela ha realizado una animación a partir de esta imagen estática para que se entendiera el proceso que está pasando en el Cuerpo Negro al incidir la luz sobre él. Lo estamos haciendo para mejorar el artículo La Constante_de_Planck. Nos hemos topado con algún administrador que la ha borrado pero no le hemos podido explicar bien nuestros motivos para mantenerla porque no nos hemos podido entender bien a causa del inglés. Parece ser que hay que explicar bien el origen previo de la imagen y no lo habíamos hecho. Si nos liberas la imagen lo podremos hacer. Además necesitábamos conocer a algún administrador de habla hispana no sólo por este problema sino por si necesitamos ayuda más adelante también. Te escribo porque parece que en Commons algunos se pasan las normas a la torera sin consecuencias y quisiera que me indicases la forma de proceder (si es que hay alguna).
Ahora, con mala fe manifiesta, solicitó borrado de este . El borrado fue discutido entre varios usuarios (incluido yo) por un lado y él solo por el otro, dándole todas las explicaciones y fuentes necesarias, que desoyó. Un administrador resuelve mantenerlo aquí y llega Denniss (viejo conocido) ¡y lo elimina! ignorando tanto la discusión como la decisión administrativa (¿para qué sirven, entonces?), inventándose que no se había resuelto lo del copyright. Falso, porque el archivo borrado era derivado (con casi todos los elementos) de este, que es de uso libre y aquí se ven las similitudes y diferencias (el tercero es del posible copyright).
Supongo que estarás ocupado para revisar estos temas y entiendo que no quieras meterte en camisas de once varas, aunque si pudieses darme alguna indicación te estaría muy agradecido; yo lo único que quiero es enriquecer el proyecto, pero ciertos "usuarios" y sus "cruzadas" no lo permiten.
Soy usuario de es.wiki, pero me gusta colaborar cuando pueda.
En wikimedia Commons, últimamente he estado desarrollando imágenes vectoriales .svg en Inkscape, más específicamente trazados de autódromos. Cada día me salen mejor (modestia al margen). Todo comenzó con la creación del artículo es.wiki del Autódromo de concepción del Uruguay, que tampoco tenía una imagen. Después hice otros como los del Galvez de Bs. As. Luego me topé con una política :

Entonces comencé a reemplazar los viejos archivos. No propuse el borrado, ya que no veo el veneficio. No obstante, en la fr.wiki, revirtieron los cambios, aduciendo mala calidad y que los trazados, al igual que los png, gif y jpg, están echos en español. Yo dije que los circuitos de habla hispana deben ir en español, pero desarrolle archivos de circuitos franceses e italianos en sus correspondientes idiomas (Te dejo mis trabajos para que los veas). Los circuitos son calcados sobre imágenes aéreas (si no cuento con la imagen aérea, no lo hago), permitiendo una definición elevada, es más, el ancho del trazado es proporcional al circuito, si la pista se ensancha, queda reflejado en el dibujo. Para no entrar en una guerra de ediciones en la fr.wiki, propuse para el borrado los archivos en cuestión y fueron conservados por estar en uso (en uso, a partir de reversiones). Sigo siendo partidario de conservarlos, pero este es un caso especial. Estos archivos están en uso en más de 500 artículos y en más de 15 idiomas y me lo han agradecido, pero los únicos disconformes y sin base, son los franceses. Desde ya te pido disculpas por abusar de tu gentileza y estoy a tu disposición para lo que gustes.

Te pregunto porque necesito una imagen para ilustrar el artículo El caso Madaf y tengo este afiche (la segunda imagen) que se distribuyó por el caso.
¿Leíste el artículo del caso Madaf? La imagen es de un panfleto buscando una persona desaparecida. Es un contra sentido, distribuir un panfleto públicamente y al mismo tiempo exigir derechos de autor, lo que limitaría la misma distribución y el efecto perseguido. Busque a mi hija, pero paguen por el panfleto. El panfleto se distribuyó sin ningún tipo de licencia o de manera totalmente libre para reproducir, editar y redistribuir, quién lo hizo buscaba la máxima difusión. Cual es el estatus de una obra que nació de forma totalmente liberada y de la que se repartieron miles de ejemplares de manera totalmente gratuita y masiva, efectuado por decenas de personas. El acceso a internet en esa época en San Luis era mucho mas limitada que hoy. Esta imagen en la actualidad aparecería en Missing Childrens.

Hola Rastrojo. Cuando iba a usar la imagen en el artículo de la persona a quien hace referencia he observado que la había eliminado por una posible violación de derechos de autor. Si me lo permite me gustaría comentar que antes de subirla a wikipedia commons solicité y obtuve el permiso de su propietario para editarla yo mismo y subirla, pues su función era ilustrar el artículo que hace referencia a dicha persona. Seleccioné dicha imagen porque su legítimo propietario me aseguró que estaba libre de derechos, pues se encuentra disponible para descargar en su página web.
Si fuera posible, le rogaría me ayude a cumplir con cualquier requisito que haya obviado para usar dicha imagen en el artículo.

Quería consultarle una cosa. En realidad, es el típico problema que ocurre cuando un edificio con nombre propio alberga una institución con otro distinto. En España hay cientos y tal vez miles de casos, pero por el momento sólo quiero que me diga lo que opina con una vinculada a Sevilla.
El Ayuntamiento de Sevilla se aloja en la Casa consistorial de Sevilla, y la plantilla de institución, la página de Template y la galería de imagenes (el lote completo), llevan el nombre de Casa consistorial de Sevilla. Técnicamente, no es del todo incorrecto, porque ese edificio tiene artículo en Wikipedia y en otras circunstancias sería una institución.
Pero yo creo que habría que trasladarlo a Ayuntamiento de Sevilla, porque el propietario de las obras de arte, que por cierto tiene bastantes y más que va a tener, no es la casa consistorial, sino el ayuntamiento de Sevilla.
Ya estaba más que argumentado en otra discu :) Pues muy bien, trabajando mucho en la Galipedia intentando no meterme en muchos líos, ahora con un bot usando e, AutoWikiBrowser, que estoy mirando como traducir su interfaz a gallego para que más gente pueda usarlo en la Galipedia, y tal y tal, y tal :D Y vosotros que? Buenas tardes, Rastrojo. Tengo escrito en las solicitudes del taller de heráldica y vexilología las descripciones de los escudos de las hermandades de la Semana Santa de Sevilla. Hola, tengo dudas para subir archivos de otro autor; hace poco subí dos imágenes y seguí los pasos que indica commons para trabajos de otra persona, enviando la autorización a permissions-es@wikimedia.org pero a pesar de eso los archivos fueron eliminadas. As every year, Wiki Loves Earth in Spain, an international photographic contest about natural heritage sites in the Spanish territory, started on May 1st. On behalf of the Wikipedia community and Wikimedia España (WM-ES), and as a participant in former editions of the event, we'd like to encourage you to participate in the 2018 edition. When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.
Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.
We have two suggested ways this identity could work. We would appreciate your feedback on which way you think would work best for you and your wiki, now and in the future. You can let us know on the talk page. You can write in your language. The suggestions were posted in October and we will decide after 17 January.

Hola, Rastrojo. Has eliminado de commons los escudos que subí del Real Valladolid, tanto los históricos como el actual. Es evidente que esos escudos fueron creados hace décadas, algunos hace casi un siglo. Y que todos salvo el actual están sin uso hace décadas también (salvo el actual, que será reemplazado este verano). También compruebo que el escudo actual luce en el artículo de la wikipedia en inglés sin aparente problema.
¿Cuál sería la manera de poder publicarlos? Porque entiendo que problema real de derechos de autor no hay, parece más algún asunto burocrático.
En mi trabajo, los nuevos hacen muchas cagadas. Yo intento arreglar esas cagadas sin borrar su trabajo. Borrar es muy fácil, quizá es un poco más complicado adaptar ese trabajo parcialmente incorrecto a los estándares adecuados, y luego explicarles la manera correcta de hacerlo.
Quizá personalizo en ti varias cosas que he visto en otros usuarios veteranos de wikimedia. Pero veo que tendeis mucho a destruir y poco a arreglar.

Un administrador resuelve mantenerlo aquí y llega Denniss (viejo conocido) ¡y lo elimina! ignorando tanto la discusión como la decisión administrativa (¿para qué sirven, entonces?), inventándose que no se había resuelto lo del copyright. Falso, porque el archivo borrado era derivado (con casi todos los elementos) de este, que es de uso libre y aquí se ven las similitudes y diferencias (el tercero es del posible copyright).
